Biography

Sanket Sinha joined Lighthouse Canton in 2018 as the Head of Private Investments. He is responsible for the management and sourcing of investment opportunities in the Private Market space.

Sanket received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode and a degree in Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Sanket is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Diversity of Experience

Before joining Lighthouse Canton, he spent a couple of years in the Global Wealth and Asset Management division at Edelweiss Financial Services in India. Before that, he co-founded a fintech venture, WealthPack (later acquired by Edelweiss), which was a personal finance application aggregating customer accounts in real-time and providing them with a 360-degree view of their personal finances. Before that, he was a founding employee and Head of Portfolio and Credit at X10 Financial Services, a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) which provided supply chain financing to SMEs in India. Sanket played an instrumental role in setting up the business and during his stint with X10, he led various initiatives including business development, forging co-lending alliances, product development, building alternative data-based underwriting models, and management of the loan portfolio. He has also worked with Deutsche Bank and Edelweiss Financial Services.
