Biography

Subrata Sharma is the Executive Director, and CEO of the Lighthouse Canton Real Estate business. He is responsible for the overall growth and profitability of the real estate business. Along with the core team, he drives the strategic objectives of this platform and is focused on expanding the business into newer markets and broadening the product offering, beyond R&D labs, to prospective space occupiers from innovation sectors such as life sciences, and medical devices, among others.

Subrata holds an MBA with specializations in Strategy and Marketing (Brand, Product, and Services), and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.

Diversity of Experience

Subrata has over 25 years of experience, about half of which has been in leadership roles in the Real Estate industry spanning residential, property consulting, and commercial Offices. He spent the first half of his career in the Oil Industry. Prior to joining Lighthouse Canton, Subrata worked with Brigade Enterprises as COO- Commercial, where he headed the Commercial Real Estate SBU. Prior to Brigade Enterprises, he worked in senior leadership roles in the Hyderabad City Operations of Ascendas Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. (now CapitaLand) and the Hyderabad Branch of Knight Frank.
